A concert featuring works by female Irish composers will take place in the Kleiner Ehrbar Saal, Vienna on the 22nd April at 19:00.

Flautist Miriam Kaczor was born in Poland, grew up in Dublin and now lives and works in Austria. She will be joined by Irish pianist Elaine Loebenstein to perform a diverse and fascinating programme of contemporary and historical works by composers including Mary Dickenson Auner, Linda Buckley, Augusta Holmès, Jennifer Walshe, Rhona Clarke and Solfa Carlile.

The concert honours the 1,500th anniversary of St Brigid's passing by highlighting the ongoing contribution of women to the music, arts and culture of Ireland, both nationally and internationally.
