Beneath Iseult’s Tower is the title of a collaborative opera for Culture Night 2017 written by Elis Czerniak, Sinéad Finegan and Norah Walsh.

The work formed the centrepiece of CMC’s Culture Night celebrations on 22 September where it received three performances in CMC, with a fourth in the nearby Wood Quay Amphitheatre.

Beneath Iseult’s Tower takes its theme from Tristan and the Irish Princess Iseult, after whom Isolde’s Tower in nearby Wood Quay is named. The composers came together to work on the opera following an open call from CMC, and were assisted by Producer Síobhra Quinlan of OTC Opera Hub, Mentor Michelle O’Rourke and singer Bríd Ní Ghruagáin.
