CMC Salon - Paul Roe and Marcella Barz

The first in a new series featuring a selection of works by composers from Ireland, showcased by some of Ireland’s leading performers of contemporary music, with insightful contributions about the music from the composers and performers in conversation with CMC Director Evonne Ferguson.

The event includes leading exponents of contemporary music from Ireland Paul Roe and Marcella Barz on bass clarinet. The programme includes Amanda Feery’s Star-maker for bass clarinet in a performance with live electronics prepared by Marcella Barz, Stung for bass clarinet and live electronics by Frank Lyons and Jane O’Leary’s a piacere for bass clarinet.
