Composer and harpist Anne-Marie O Farrell takes part in a performance of music, story and song in Dublin on Sunday 7 March.

The performance, called  Dauntless & Daring: Women of the Gael, with actor and singer Glynis Casson marks International Women’s Day on 8 March. It takes place in Liberty Hall, Dublin, at 2.30 pm, admission free. Further information from Dublin City  Council.

Anne-Marie OFarrell is just back from Chartres Cathedral where she played a concert with harpist Ann Jones and Galway's Tribal Chamber Choir conducted by Mark Keane in a performance of Danish composer Pallé Mikkelborg's beautiful work, A Noone of Night.

Her next performances are a St Patrick's concert at Sandford Parish Church, Ranelagh, Dublin with Eleanor Shanley and her band and the Alexandra College Trad band on Monday 15 March at 8.00 p.m. Admission €15/€10. On Wednesday 17 March, 2.00-2.40pm and 3.00-3.40pm she appears with storyteller Nuala Hayes at the National Museum, Kildare Street, Dublin 2. This is a Family Event - stories, legends and music from before and after the time of St. Patrick. Admission free.
