These early works by Roger Doyle (b. 1949) were written between 1968 and 1980 and originally issued on vinyl. Remastered in 2002, they include the title track, ‘Rapid Eye Movements’ for tape, his attempt at ‘a masterpiece before the age of thirty'. On its initial release in 1981 this was described by Sounds magazine as 'without doubt one of the most exhilarating LPs and unorthodox concepts ever submitted to vinyl'. |
